Looks like that contractor is about to be covered up with work. I hope he appreciates the referrals.
Note to everyone: Just because a contractor works great for one person does not mean that they will automatically be a great fit for you.

Are you looking for an agent to find you deals on rental properties? Or something to flip? There are several in the area that I would recommend but it depends on what you need help with. Some property management companies (not all) could help you out as well.
Also, a great way to meet them would be to come to the local REIA meetings.

@Matt Gooding I would suggest using a local community bank so that you can establish a relationship with them. When you buy your next rental property you are more likely to finance it with a local bank than you are Bank of America or an online bank.
Local banks like to have your deposits so that can loan the money back to you. I bank with First Community and Synovus in Augusta.

There is an annual membership or a per meeting price of $20. Come to the meeting this Thursday and I will pay for you to get in.

I have used Scott Edwards also. The bank has changed names to Synovus now.

@Hunter McCook Starting coming to the local REIA and AORE meetings. They both meet once a month and you will be able to get all of your questions and more answered. You will also be able to meet people who you can add to your real estate investing team. I have been going to those groups for years and they have helped me out tremendously. I will post the REIA meetings in the events section. I hope to see you at the next one!

I have been a real estate investors for ten years now and do not have my license. I decided not to get a license and become an agent because I wanted to have a team of agents that I could work with to find and close deals. I can't do it all myself and I have met plenty of agents in Augusta that are far better at it then I ever would be.
