You should come to the Augusta REIA Meetings. They are the second Thursday of the month. 7:00 at the Meybohm building in Evans

Hey Everyone!

The monthly Augusta REIA Meeting is Thursday June 10th and 7:00. The event will be held on the 4th floor of the Meybohm building in Evans. This month we will be having several of the REIA board members on a panel talking about how they got started in real estate and what they have learned over the years. There will be time for plenty of questions also.

This is a great opportunity to meet local real estate investors in the Augusta area. Admission is free for first time attendees!

Hey Karla. Congratulations on wanting to get started in real estate! The great news is that everyone can find a different way to become successful in real estate. Unfortunately, that is the hard part also. This means that there is not specific step by step actions that are laid out for you to follow. My best advice would be to pick a strategy, learn as much as you can about it and stick with it. Being successful in real estate does not happen over night. 

Auben Realty used to advertise turn key rentals. Im sure they probably still do. You should also reach out to @Betsey Davis about locating some turn key deals in Augusta

Hey George! You should come to the next Augusta REIA meeting. It's at 7:00 on April 15th. I have posted more information about it in the events section on Bigger Pockets. It is a great way to meet other local real estate investors. I hope to see you there!

I agree with @Stan Sugarman also. The same investing principals apply everywhere. What has you interested in Augusta @Whitney Ortiz? There seems to be a lot of out of town investors coming our way recently
