Ther are tons of resources here on BP. Have a look at the education tab and use the search function to help you narrow down your results. It can be a bit overwhelming but if you have an action plan things will come together nicely. Focus on 1 niche (property type) and 1 strategy (wholesaling, fix & flip or rentals) and study it. Network with other investors via REI meetings, just Google them or look on meetup. The last step is to take action. Good luck with your Real Estate Goals!

Welcome to the BP Community. Check out the complete guide to wholesaling under the education tab it's listed under guides. Attend local REI meetings and network with other investors in your area groups can be found here, at meetup.com and by searching Google. Study and ask questions. Finally take action.

The Biggerpockets beginners guide can help you with how to get started. Go to the Education tab and click on the Free Course link. Pick 1 niche (Type of property) and pick 1 strategy (3 main strategies are Wholesaling, Fix and flip and Rentals). Study, Study, Study. Attend local REI meetings look them up on meetup and google. Finally take action. Hope this helps.

Double close means that you will close with the seller on your scheduled closing date then after that (sometimes the same day) you will close with the buyer of the property. Assigning the contract simply means that you add the words and/or assigns to the contract. Assignment fee example John sells you his house for $50,000, you then turn around after that and sell the same house to Bill for $60,000. Your assignment fee is then $10,000. As for where to obtain contracts if you're a pro member you can check the fileplace. If not you can ask a realtor to give you one. You can also purchase them at your nearest office supply store. ALWAYS have a reliable RE Attorney look over the contractsbefore you sign them.

Access to the MLS, commission on properties sold, saving money by not having to pay commissions to another realtor for listing properties etc.

My number 1 recommendation is be honest after all as the saying goes honesty is the best policy. My number 2 recommendation is to get your real estate license if possible although it isn't a 100% requirement it will definitely help out. My number 3 recommendation is to study as much as you can about wholesaling in general and about the different contract types that can be used. My number 4 recommendation is to ask questions if you need help. My last and final recommendation is to TAKE ACTION. I hope these recommendations help you out.
