I'm going to give you the same advice that was given to me. Read as much as you can about the "niche" and "strategy" you want to use for real estate investing. Although wholesaling may seem like a good strategy starting out it is one of the hardest (not impossible) places to begin. My advice is to take a look at these resources on getting started and wholesaling:

I also recommend checking out the books:

These are all fantastic resources to get you started!
Thanks for your input @Dominic Lucarelli. I think I'm going to pass on the flip I may consider the buy and hold strategy if the numbers add up. Mind if I send you a colleague request?
I copied and pasted this from the realtor app...

145 days on the market judging by the surrounding houses it appears to be the "ugly" house on the block all the surrounding houses are in the $100,000 to $130,000 range.
Not sure about the plumbing etc. as I haven't seen the property but overall it is a definite fixer upper. I can do some of the work but not all of it so I'd have to find a good general contractor to work with on it. I have another question how long would a project like this take...would you be willing to take a look at the property via Realtor and give me your input?
I found a possible deal using Realtor's MLS. The deal is $24,900 for a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom property in an area where the homes are about $150,000 for similar homes to the one I've found. The problem is it appears to need totally gutted and a possible new roof (I haven't been inside of the property.) My question is will it be worth it to continue? Thanks in advance for any advice.
