This month our group is being hosted by Alcove at their headquarters in Downtown Durham. They are providing food and drinks, and will be giving a short presentation on their services. After their presentation, we will have time to network. Come out and meet other like-minded real estate enthusiasts!

This month we will have a guest speaker, Adam Schneider - a private hard money lender. Adam will walk through how hard money lending works and what to watch out for if you are a borrower. He'll answer any and all questions. Adam is a real estate broker, an investor (franchise operator with HomeVestors, the We Buy Ugly Houses people), an accredited private lender (American Association of Private Lenders), and has been providing loans in NC since 2015. This is a great opportunity for new as well as seasoned investors to network and build lasting relationships. People from all areas of Real Estate are encouraged to come regardless of experience level. Residential, Commercial, Wholesalers, Contractors, Flippers, Real Estate Agents/Brokers, Property Managers, Lenders, and Rental Property Owners.

This month we will allocate an hour for a focus group. We will have a few participants at each table, with the discussion moderated by a group leader. The topic will be goal setting/getting started in real estate - how to take the first steps on your journey, frequently asked questions, etc. Our group leaders will share their experiences & lessons learned.

Schedule:

6:00pm - 6:30pm: Arrive, order drinks/food, pick a table

6:30pm - 7:30pm: Focus group

7:30pm - 10pm: Open networking
