I'm adding my brother to the property deed through a grant deed. I purchased this property back in 2011. My name will still remain on the property deed now will this recorded deed with the County trigger a property tax re-assessment? The value of this property has doubled and would hate to see the property tax doubled. The property is in Ventura County, California. Please advise.

Hi BP!
I'm currently shopping around to find a quality Carpet supplier for my 2 bed/2 bath condo. I need about 800 sq ft and I'm going with carpet because I have an infant running around. Any recommendation for best price and quality?
Currently looking at facing weight at 60 oz.
Thanks in advance

Hello BP!
I'm selling my house to my friend as "FSBO". We negotiated and agreed to a price. Now, do I get the option to pick an Escrow/Title company, if so, how much should I end up paying for this service? Is there room for negotiation? Any recommendations??
