@Matt Crain

Hello and welcome!

I am pretty new also, and so what little advice I have for you is this....put yourself out there and get a great mentor to work with! Show your value, work hard, and believe that there are great experienced folks out there willing to help you along your journey!

You'll do great! :)

Now that I'm up and running with my new *AWESOME* mentor & huge BP contributor, I can't be stopped!! :)

I am looking to actively grow my LinkedIn reach, but because of my relentless pursuit of contacts in the past (ie- too many invites to people I don't actually know), my invite privileges have been recently limited.  This is where YOU come in!

If you are active on LinkedIn, will you please send ME an invite so we can connect?

Here is a link to my profile.  If prompted, email address listed is [email protected], and I will accept and connect with ALL invites!

While I'm looking to partner with everyone here on BP and LinkedIn too, I have a particular IMMEDIATE interest in acquiring *great* deals in the Chicagoland area in the next 30 days, so please make mention in your invite email if you have any.

Now let's do this BP!!!!

Looking to connect with a great, experienced REI attorney that can help me get set up as I take my first steps to REI business establishment. Someone who's great out here in the NW suburbs (Huntley/Elgin/Algonquin area), professional, and won't gouge my eyes out (at least not at first...) :)

Recommendations welcome, thank you!!!

I just wanted to let you know that Bigger Pockets changes lives!

I went to an investor meeting last night and got to meet some of the BP members and successful producers in person....Wendell De Guzman was the guest speaker, and for FREE he shared his incredible wisdom, tips, tools & advice for success in Wholesaling.  Hosted by Tanis Group Realty, the night was a true success of education and VALUABLE information sharing, and of course, networking, cookies and coffee! :)

No pressure, no Guru-tactics, just authentic, experienced professionals willing to share knowledge, info & contacts.  Wendell De Guzman is as professional, energetic and strategic in his approach in person as he is here in the forums and in his BP podcast (check it out!).

Just wanted to share this newbie's experience from last night...feeling energized and excited about the possibilities in this industry, and about the wealth of great people and information-sharing here on the Bigger Pockets site.  Stay tuned for more from this hungry and determined newbie in Chicago! :)

**Note--I am not looking for an "admin/busy" job...whatever I do for you for 8 hours/week (or more!) should bring value to your business (win for you) as well as expose me to deals, and the ins and outs of RE investing by exposure (win for me). Look forward to hearing from you! :)

While I am new to real estate investing, I'm not new to sales or real estate.  I love BP and have plans to start investing by the end of this year, in the interim, learning all I can about setting up and getting my Real Estate Investing business going.  That said, I am willing to give you one day/week (Tuesdays--my day off) to benefit & assist you and your real estate investing business.  You are an experienced, busy, successful multi-tasker who can benefit from this tech-savvy sales girl (www.she-sells-lexus.com), and I am willing to do what it takes to help you while simultaneously learning the business of real estate investing.

I'm not afraid to talk to people, to find deals, and to make things happen.  I'm all over social media, and I love a challenge.  I WILL benefit you while you teach me the ropes, and it will be a win-win for us both.  I can go anywhere in the NW suburbs and start as early as next week.

Let's talk! :)

Thanks everyone...I completely understand someone not just "giving" out their hard work and education to newbies just starting out, but yes I do believe it's about relationships, making yourself valuable while learning, and of course, sharing  the "learning" deals!  It actually could be a great opportunity to share wisdom AND make $$ while investing in newbies, but I understand it may not be for everyone.

I really appreciate your valuable feedback and insight...I love BP!!!
