It was fabulous meeting everyone at the first official NW Chicagoland BP Meet Up!  Thanks to @Wendell De Guzman who did a fabulous job helping to kick off the meeting!  And a big THANK YOU to everyone who came out to network, meet and learn, and who helped make the first meeting a huge success!

Already lots of learning, networking, and opportunities, with tons more to follow!

That said, we've already selected the date for next month's meeting, get all the details here and SAVE THE DATE!

So I'll just go ahead and put myself out there...

I recently left my FT sales position-luxury automobiles- and find myself in need of FT employment. I am actively working with a REI mentor on a PT basis, on my "off" hours, but I need to jump into something FT again...soon...and would really like to align my FT efforts with my REI goals, and find a way to make a FT living as a newbie with a local REI company. My mentor is not in a position to hire me on a FT basis, but he is fabulous and we are working on deals together.

So my question is, WHAT can I offer to a busy, established, successful REI business that will encourage them to take a chance on this newbie? I'm not new to business....I'm professional, experienced, savvy, and a tenacious go-getter that will benefit any business that's willing to have me. What I'm wondering though, is if I am realistic thinking I can make a FT living WHILE LEARNING the REI business? I have a lot to bring to the table immediately, but just honestly am still learning this business.

Thoughts of WHERE to avail myself and HOW to approach is much appreciated.
