I would suggest trying someone local, may hosts have find their last resort at a local insurance company. But make sure to read the fine print of the policy, that way they don't say it's STR okay but in the fine print it's not.

Quote from @Andrew Steffens:
I have found lower end W/D more recently have been failing much faster than the higher end names (Samsung, LG, etc). The warranty and service has also been lacking. If I wa outfitting a property right now I would get lower end Samsung.

Minoan.com is a great option to use for a situation like this! Not only is every order on one website but you get emails on which orders arrive what day and an email when they arrive. This can really help for those remotely that either go to property for a couple days to deal with deliveries or hire someone to do it for them. Many people use their realtors or someone a realtor suggests.

We haven't ever worried about size but more so that it's a commercial model. Like Maytag or Whirlpool's commercial machines. For reference all our properties are 6+ guests.

You would need to hire someone to come in and take care of that for you. Whether it's you are ordering and someone stopping in everyday to get deliveries, then hiring someone to set the place up, or hiring someone to do the ordering, pick up deliveries, and set the property up. Not everyone is very expensive, but some companies/people do charge a bit for this. If you need any contacts that would travel to do the work feel free to DM me. Unfortunately, NY does not offer many local STR companies due to the regulations that make STR hosting difficult.

Ring doorbells are a life savior if a guest or service person has any trouble getting into the property. Especially if you're like us and have STR in locations with no cell service!

Whatever you choose make sure to read the ENTIRE fine print of the policy. Many times, hosts think the company or broker provided a STR policy just to find out when a claim is made there was a little sentence in the fine print that stated any STR activities canceled the policy out.

Lots of hosts are enjoying the use of Market my STR created by Bill Faeth and Go Market My STR made by another host whose name is slipping my mind. We haven't used either program but I believe at least one builds out the site and SEO.
