WhenI first started I met a realtor at a local investment group and shared my goals and ambitions with her. I think she was infected with my energy and excitement and she has been a great addition to my team thru this journey and we still do deals together. Find a foreclosure group or investor meetup and begin to make contacts. Most importantly set clear goals and communicate clear goals to people you meet. Opportunity will find you if you pursue your goals relentlessly. Don't rush into the first opportunity just because one finally showed up! Do the math, stick to the math, and play the long game.

Find a good realtor to help you set true value. You need a good team and your agent is the first part of that. Ask around for referrals, pound the phone.

I recommend going to the Vestus Foreclosure Group. There is a wealth of knowledge and many opportunities to be found in the rooms, it is how I got started and I am grateful for them.

Welcome Katherine! It's a great time to get started!! Tacoma has tons of opportunity right now for BRRR deals.
