@Julian Joseph

How much could you pay off in 2 years? It's just a LOT of debt to be working with. People are correct in this forum, yes you could get started, but there is risk involved and I would want to knock out a good 50-75% of that student loan debt before you get started.

@Matt Loewenstein

I manage Airbnb's myself and everyone is correct here so far.

Make sure it's legal

Location is key

And you will have extra costs not associated with regular rentals. All utilities, replacing tons of towels, etc...

@Mark Futalan

You could, but we have decided not too.

I am ALL about safety when it comes to my investments, but I guess there is a certain point that I don't want to scare off clientele.

Congratulations! I know it took a lot of work to get where you are today :)

@Shane Albert

I agree with @Michael Dang and @Matt Popilek here

Michael gave some great podcasts to listen to. And Matt brought up some great points. For us it was the same way, we started out with a small deal, and the experiences and time being in those deals helped us get to where we are. Take it one step at a time.

Have you been attending your local REIs?

@Michael Eastland

That's definitely an interesting scenario you got there. Have you reached out to other insurance providers to see if they require the same documentation?
