Depends on what your looking for. To be honest doesn’t sound very exciting of a deal. Porter is a decent area but not the best. Conroe would be better but even then this doesn’t meet the 1% rule. I would definitely negotiate them down quite a bit 400k or less

you can find them all here...? Sounds like you are just a little worried about the move because you are not familiar with it.  There’s lots of opportunity here. Take a few weekends of driving around Houston and you will find the good and bad areas.

Houston has so much opportunity.

You can invest anywhere and make good returns. Most of the the suburbs are great.

photos are a big deal. Take really good ones right after the remodel so you can use them the next few years.

I use cozy.co - puts a listing on realtor.com

Also be apart of all the local facebook groups. Facebook has by far been the best for me.

Good luck

@Tony Schreiner Tony, $1,000 will not even begin to pay for closing costs on a property. With that amount of money you will need 100%++ financing which even some hard money guys will not do. Even if they do 100% financing, you will need to take draws out to pay your contractor / subs and they will not care about you telling them to wait for the money from your bank. They will not come back to work for you.

if you need some help or advice from a local guy near conroe let me know! Glad to help

I would include blind unless you want them to do it their self and possibly mess up the Sheetrock ect..

Depends on the area your in but I wouldn’t spent too much on the lawn just make it look presentable

@Kevin Polite

I’m using cozy.co also but I want to streamline my rental inquiry > application > background check & credit check to > signing lease with move in date.

I want to be able to quickly capture leads with a google forms application for this. Otherwise, I’m saving phone numbers in my phone as “potential renter @ (address)”
