I TOTALLY get your point, and for a LONG time, I did just and didn't attend this meeting.  I would definitely encourage everyone to meet in small groups.

That said, now that I have started scaling my business  and growing here in Fort Wayne, I find that the support of a sizeable group can also be a MAJOR asset for me as well.

I'm not a fan of ever being sold to.  However, experience has taught me that they value I take from this meeting far outweighs any concerns I used to have about things being too pitchy.

I'd encourage you to come check it out.  If it's not for you, no problem..... But I think you'll find that the value of the networking is invaluable.

Hey @Account Closed!  Good to hear from you!  I've often wondered how you've been since we met!

Look forward to seeing you this weekend or whenever!  If this is your first visit, just let them know you're my guest!

Hey everyone!

It's time for our monthly REIA meeting in Northeast Indiana (specifically Fort Wayne, IN). For those who don't know, we have a sizeable group that meets monthly on the 3rd Sat of most every month at 2777 Sherman Blvd Ft. Wayne, IN from 9:00a - Noon. Of course, ALL are welcome to join, whether you're new to real estate investing or are a seasoned investor, and it costs nothing to come check us out and hang out for a bit (all guests are welcome to come for free for the first visit, then there is a small membership fee downstream just to help us cover the expenses of hosting the meeting).

If you come by, be sure to grab me and say, "hey!"

Here is a link for this upcoming meeting: http://indianareia.com/meetings/

Should you have any questions, just let me know!

PS: Just to clarify, occasionally we will have nationally recognized speakers come to teach and share with us. They may or may not have products to pitch. (....regardless, I'm always grateful for the education!)

@Robert Lorenz - Would love to see you at the Fort Wayne meeting!  Next time you're in town, look us up!

PS.....I completely agree that the $99 membership free (after a free 1st visit) is worth every Penny.

It is absolutely crazy hot in Fort Wayne and getting harder by the day. However I would tell you not to get discouraged but rather to work to be creative and ways that you hadn't thought of before. I am still getting the ROI and cash-on-cash returns that I have always had but have had to explore new methods.

Can't speak for Muncie, but Fort Wayne is on fire (similar to KC a while back).  I have working toward securing small multifamily properties around Fort Wayne, and outside of a fist full of nice duplexes that I've picked up, it's been challenging.  If there are any leads or suggestions that anyone has for the aforementioned properties in Ft. Wayne, I'd love to hear from you!

I own several rentals in Fort Wayne, most all under management.

I would ask what asset class you're talking about.  Not all property managers in Fort Wayne are created equal, and some will be stronger with higher end properties than lower end or vice versa.

What are you looking to have managed?
