Can anyone recommend a hard money lender in the Hampton/Virginia Beach area.  I am looking to invest in the area and would like a local hard money lender.  I am looking to flip and buy and hold in the Hampton, Williamsburg, Newport News, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach areas.

Welcome back to Augusta, Amahl! The Augusta REIA meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7 PM. We're usually at the Columbia County Library, but December's meeting will be a holiday party at the Logan's off of Wheeler. If you can't meet the specific team members you're looking for there in person, you'll certainly be able to find great referrals. We also have a local educational group called The Art of Real Estate (AORE) that meets at the Savannah Rapids Pavilion at 8 AM on the 2nd Saturday of every month. Both are excellent groups of like-minded investors looking to network, grow their businesses, and give back to the community. Hope to see you out at a meet-up!

I grew up in Augusta/Martinez and have been thinking of moving back at the same time I caught the investor bug. Currently looking for leads in my local outside DC and other places VA but looking to expand my horizon to Augusta this spring. I need recommendations partners, agents, investor friendly banks, contractors, property management, and real estate lawyer. Thank you for any recommendations. Would consider helping to run a meetup group.

I am concerned with being fined. What is the best way to do this? I see a few bandit signs in my neighborhood and they have been up for 3 weeks now. How do I tell if an area restricts signs or not?

Talk to a lawyer or read up on city/county ordinances.
