@Mikal Koss i live less than a mile away from this.  Make sure you drive the area at all times of day to make sure you are comfortable with the location.  This neighborhood is tucked in between Chick'fila, a large mobile home park and the local high school.  

Rent could get up to $1200 which is not a home run but not bad for a purchase of $105.  

@Mikal Koss what area of town are you looking? 

@Mikal Koss I've been here in Columbia for a long time.  My neighbor was in your situation 3 years ago and has now been stationed in Tenn with his house rented here.  You nailed it with the strong market from the base and colleges.  

We also host a meet up each month.  The date for this month is still in the works.
