Hey Matthew - are you looking for a multifamily property? One where he could live in one side and rent out the others?

Hi @Sarah Nation! Welcome to the REI world! I love that you are interested in house-hacking. I think it's such an amazing way to get into the real estate market. You are smart to start at 25 and build your future early.

I am a lender in Texas and would love to help answer any questions about lending that might be able to help you move forward. What are your 5 year goals?

Hi @Lue Brooks!

Thanks for your service and welcome to the REI world. I think it's smart for you to begin your journey with a house hack.

I'd suggest talking to @Sterling Williams. He's a very knowledgeable realtor, who focuses on multifamily in San Antonio. He stays on top of everything on and off market and will help you find a property that helps you meet your goals. I actually use him for my personal multifamily investing in SA.

He's a great guy to have on your team and is connected to amazing people in the area.

Good luck in your search and let me know if you have any lending questions I can help answer!

Brooke

Hi Ahn,

You'll both be on a single 400k application, just in different groups on the form.  This streamlines the process for purchase and takes into account both incomes, assets and liabilities on one form.

Hope this helps!

Brooke

Johnny,

We still really like investing in SA. We have purchased multifamily properties with good returns and have quality tenants. Truthfully, It all starts with have an awesome team to help you find great properties and manage from out of state. I have a great team and would be happy to share. Let me know if you decide to move forward and I can send over their contact info.

Thanks,

Brooke
