@Michael Plante ... thank you! @Jeremy Roll ... no, there's other insurance companies, once I found out what a pain it was going to be, I got discouraged. I figured the no brainer thing to do was to go with the company that insures it already.... That's one of them that didn't call me back.

@Bryan Otteson , no, not an LLC. one insurance company had all these questions about how I planned on screening tenants since this will be my first investment property. Which didn't make sense to me, but whatever. The second one is the company that actually covers it now, no response back from him... the 3rd guy I found here on BP. He is a broker and reached out to me and gave me advice, but once I asked for a quote, he never got back to me with any information. I finally found someone who took the time to work with me. I guess the other guys are making too much money and don't need the business!😕

@David Bell hello! I'm in Dubois. Glad to see another Dubois county investor! I'm working on my first deal, duplex in French Lick.... I've been trying to figure out how to go about my lease.... did you have someone write yours up, or did you do it yourself?

Should be closing on my first deal in a week, a duplex. I was trying to shop around for insurance... I tried to get 4 different quotes, only 2 agencies responded back to me... of the 2 that didn't, 1 of the agents was off BP 😕 and the other one has the policy for the duplex as we speak!! Why is it so difficult to get quotes!?

Just a thought.... it may not be the best time to buy in Florida......... ;)
