You are the asset. In the end the broker needs to sell themselves to you. Yes it should be a mutually beneficial agreement, but you have the leverage!

@Kyle Bethune It's wise to post on BP, choosing your broker is one of the most important decisions to make.

Understand what your goals are for your business, and then interview as many brokers as you find that seem to be able to help you achieve those goals. Try to get as specific as possible with them. As others have mentioned. Ask around on BP to find investor friendly brokerages.
