Mark, I do a lot of investing in Cleveland. Do you get deals there? I have a construction crew I need to keep busy :)

@Maricar Mendoza I do a lot of work in Cleveland, while living in California, and it's hit or miss wherever you find people. I would definitely look them up on Angies list, and search them on the county recorder site to make sure they aren't parties to any lawsuits, or any mechanics liens have been filed. And again, always talking to other investors who've worked with them... proof of concept. I'm hosting a meetup in Long Beach tomorrow if you're around so cal, you should come! Antoine Martel, owner of Martel Turnkey, sold over 60 turnkey rental properties last year, throughout the United States. He's looking at hitting 100 deals this year. His markets include Memphis, Cleveland, St. Louis, and Birmingham, Alabama. 

Igor Kajpust, owner of Evolved Property Group, has successfully completed flips and multifamily deals in Denver and Orlando. 

Jared Lichtin runs a construction company, flipping houses in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. Jared has been living in California for three years, and flips full time, traveling to Cleveland every few weeks from Orange County. 

The meetup is FREE, and will last from 6PM - 8PM. I'm sure it will run longer, and we're open to hanging somewhere for drinks afterward!

I'm up in Cleveland. Things are still rolling. Buyers buying and Sellers getting good prices. I flip, and if I price my properties right, they usually move within 4-6 weeks. Medical industry controls the economy up here. Not really fair to just loop cle in with all the other 'rustbelt' states. Our economy is no longer just based on Lebron James haha.

Also, Columbus housing market has cooled off a ton in the past 6 months. Ask any neutral party out there. 

I understand, no worries, I just know the area well.. I grew up in Cleveland and I flip there full time so I know all the neighborhoods.
