@Jeffrey Holst I’ve really enjoyed the podcasts as well over the last few years from starting out investing to where I am now. Lots of good takeaways you shared. For me is that you can invest across multiple spaces and pivot as markets shift but you need to focus to be successful in any space

@Alec McGinn yes going big can provide many economies of scale but... if you don’t have a process in place it can lead to many difficulties. Starting small as a stepping stone is fine. Learn the terms, how to talk to people, know your market, how to underwrite and once you close on a deal even if a four plex what actually happens on the day to day will help you huge when you do make the shift. I started small but used what I learned to go from a 3 family right to a 94 unit but there was a lot of time spent figuring out all the steps needed so I could make the large jump.
