Post: How are you all creating market surveys your clients actually love?

Any commercial brokers here who’ve found a solid system for creating market surveys that clients genuinely find easy to use?
I’ve noticed that CoStar reports often fall short — clients end up copying and pasting addresses into Google Maps just to visualize what’s where. It’s not exactly a great experience.
Curious:
– What tools or workflows are you using to present listings?
– Are you manually building custom maps or using something beyond CoStar and LoopNet?
– Have you found anything that makes the process smoother for the client?
I’m exploring this because I’m building something with AI that visualizes surveys in a more intuitive, 3D way — but I’d love to hear how others are handling this now.

Hey BP community, has anyone have experience with Investor's lift that would be willing to meet for virtual coffee?

The first thing I do when looking at a rehab is check the permit history
SMART. We offer a permit map to our users
I am surprised not many people use this tactic

I just went to look at my first house. I was told to pay attention to roof, floors, water stains or damage that could cause mold. Also the basement...is it dry? Are there any noticeable cracks.
Great points. I'm curious, what data and information did you see before you decided to go visit the house in person?

Not a wholesaler, I'm building an AI app to find flips. I agree with the wholesaler's ARV, it's usually a little inflated, and repair costs deflated. Thanks, as a lender, is there any other data you like to have when an investor sends you a property looking for funding?

Quote from @Nicholas L.:
tools are fine but I think picking a market you personally know will be out any data you can look up.
Exactly. Data can only go so far. There are no data points for feeling safe walking in a neighborhood (crime per block is closest), local restaurants (walkability scores are great), capital pouring in the area, etc, like actually driving a neighborhood and/or area

This is a follow-up question from another one I asked a few weeks ago. What data points are crucial for you to find a potential flip?
Are all these data points represented in the images below? If not, what else would you add?
Present:
- Listing images
- Property info (beds, baths, sqft)
- Listing info (days on market, price cuts, etc)
- Estimated ARV
- Comps used to see ARV
