And with it being mid-2018, we did see some appreciation with Stockton if compared to mid last year. Are people more on the sidelines now or what's everyone's take on Stockton now, mid 2018?

This is really helpful. I've been watching the Stockton market for the past year and I would have agree with you @Wes Blackwell.  Are you just selling homes out of Stockton or do you have some rentals your acquiring Wes?

PM me if you have some listings that might be of interest.

Pretty broad question but just curious as to where people have been finding success flipping around the bay(50-200 mile radius from San Jose) in 2017? Seems like there are quite a few places within a few hours driving distance.

With the market as competitive as it is, wanted to hear some feeedback from you bay area flippers?

Thank you @Jeff Zimmerman

That's actually my plan. Been trying to eye ball Fresno for the past year and I definitely saw an increase in overall value in pretty much all neighborhoods. I have seen the prices become kind of stagnant lately but I see that in a lot of areas in the bay area / a few hours next to the bay.  I would love to connect with you Jeff. I am going to PM you to get your contact info.

Hello everyone, I’ve been trying to find more information about the bullet train under construction in Fresno. From my understanding, it broke ground early 2015 and is supposedly finishing around 2025? I have exhaust my search engines in trying to find a more definitive answer. Anyone know the status of the progress? And what parts of Fresno will have the potential stops?

@Jay Hinrichs  I also want to thank you. Your words are gold and will save me and I'm sure many other people a lot of time and mistakes. And not only from this thread I might add but from many others I've read that you commented on. So thanks again for continually sharing the insight!

You can also look into @Dave Van Horn who's written countless blog posts for BP, was on Podcast #28 and also runs PPR Note Company. Last but not least I'd recommend listening to Podcast #211 with @Bob Malecki who's another highly knowledgeable player in the note space. Good luck!

Thank you Odie. I've actually read / listened to most of what you mentioned above. Also, reached out to them as well. Definitely great stuff, learning so much. The note game seems so attractive to me for a number of reasons as I am sure they are for you too!

Thank you. I am going to a few different classes / seminars and going to network a bit more before I jump in.  Its a very interesting space that I would like to be apart of. But I am doing my due diligence, on learning how to do due diligence on notes haha. Again, I thank you guys for your quick response and lending a helping hand! @Tim S. @Bill B.
