This is a meetup for investors with 5 deals or less! We understand that other meetups and associations can be intimidating. Sometimes it feels like everyone in the room knows WAY more than you do. It can be embarrassing to speak up, ask questions or network. Not here. At this meetup, everyone is new. We'll support and encourage each other. We'll problem solve and grow together.

This session we will be discussing making offers. This is a critical step in real estate investing, however is often put off for months and sometimes even years. We will be working together to develop actionable steps for reaching the far side of analysis paralysis.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday. Remember, this will be a working session. You will want to bring: a laptop, pen and paper. Since we will be looking at specific deals, it would be helpful if folks come with some properties in mind that could be analyzed in groups.

We had so much fun at Session #2, we are diving back in. These are working sessions. Bring pen, paper and/or a laptop. We will review others criteria and will break into smaller groups to try and find some deals!

Newbie investors in Columbus!

I am not a lawyer but I am glad you have a meeting scheduled with one. I imagine the lawyer is going to prevent you with a few different options. It sounds like your uncle has been stealing from you. I think you need to decide what price you are willing to pay to "keep the peace". You could probably drag this into court and get money that is owed to you, or you can cut your losses, keep the peace and move on. Personally, I would fall somewhere in the middle. I would definitely want to make sure the estate is being handled appropriately but would not want to continue a long term partnership with him. Lastly this may be a situation where you want to check in with a few lawyers. If this is going to drag out, make sure you are working with someone you feel confident with. Good luck!
