@Rachel Pivonka I agree with the last statement of @Bryan Wesley, we sometimes quote higher if we are really busy in case we need to hire other short term workers or contract it out to another company if we win the bid.
Good luck.

@Jonathan G. I agree that you have one shot. @Charlie Fitzgerald has a lot of knowledge and I think he is right. Have all the information and the numbers available. Then just talk to him, and be real, don't make things up or give unrealistic future projections. HL are usually savvy but they are also realistic people.
Good Luck!

Hello and welcome to BP.
I have bought and attended several real estate investor/ training seminars. I sure wish that I would have known about this site years ago. I could have learned so much and saved a lot of money.
You made a great decision to join.
The Best thing to do is get educated. Read, books on investing in real estate, listen to thepodcasts (hover the mouse over the “Education” tab on the top of the page, then click on “Podcast”), attendwebinarsand stay active on the forums while connecting with other investorsin your area and pick aniche.
P.S. if you want somebody to know that you have a question or a comment for or about them, type "@ and their last name (sometimes the first name)". Wait a couple of seconds and their name will appear, click on it. Their name will then appear in blue, like above. This will send them a notice that they have a question or comment waiting for their response, or that you just appreciated them.
Have a great day!

Welcome to b.p., I also learned a ton here in the couple of weeks that I've been a member. Watch the podcast, they have a crazy amount of knowledge.
Look under education at top of page.
Have fun!

@Christopher B. lol, man, it sounds like we could make a killing out there by simply being honest and straight up with the clients.
