Good Morning!

The next meetup is scheduled for 12/1. Due to the end of month chaos I will be moving them to the first Tuesday of the month. Click here to join the group on meetup for reminders and upcoming events.

These are designed to be 100% networking. We'll have a brief introduction at the beginning and plan on ending the meeting at 8:30-9:00. Everyone from all parts of the business and all levels of experience are invited. The goal is for people to connect and network so we can all do more deals. :)

Welcome @Frank S.! I'm in Orland Park and Evanston would be out of the question for a commute for me too. Have you been to Edzo's burger shop in Evanston? Tasty.

Anyway, have you looked in Niles? The 3 unit market there could be good for a house hack. Also, while you can't bet on appreciation I can tell you the small multi market (near me at least) has been doing well. While it's difficult to find deals they're there.

Hey there @David Esquerra. It's absolutely possible. Yes it is hard. You probably won't  make a killing at first, and your age will be a slight hurdle. So what? Hurdles can be jumped. Real estate is simple bit not easy.

My advice would be to really do some research and join an established team They can really shorten your learning curve and should be able to help w some leads.

They sure have gone up! Lots of time over asking w multiple cash offers. 

@Chris Wienke try and scoop up some of the cheaper ones in Oak Lawn. I've noticed the buildings are turning younger. Lots need updating.
