Hey guys, I have an idea we believe has some traction and potential. I've never done this before and I'm looking for a referral in the Tampa Bay area  for someone to run an idea by. I guess a patent attorney or whatever.  Does't have anything to do with real estate. Anyone have a decent referral that wont rake me over the coals to just get an opinion and initial perspective?

@Raul Barnes  Read Rich Dad Poor Dad,  I have a degree from an Ivy U. Opened doors but I smartened up enough to close those doors before they locked me in. If you are looking for the 'security" of a job. go for biz or finance and then get a MS in specific area. If you want to eventually get wealthy, apprentice or work with someone in RE and put in your time, Just my 2 cents.

@Mark Higgins Hi Mark. as you can see, I'm also in Clearwater. There are a bunch of opportunities in the area as you already know. I'm currently in a rehab/flip mode and have done two MHs this year. If your interested in grabbing a cup of coffee and maybe talkig about combining forces, shoot me a PM. If not, I wish you much success - lots of opportunities here!

@Cory Binsfield I read the Forbes article and all I can say is what an inspiration you are! I just started my REI career about 10 months ago and have a goal of ramping things up as you did. We're close in age and left financial planning January '15 (self employed), so I can relate very well.

I wish you much more success and congratulations!

@Brent McQuilkin He has an outstanding mortgage of 46K and "asking" 40? Without going down the very long and tedious short sale route i don't think the transaction is going to get any traction. I'd think his lender might have a different opinion on how much he should ask :)
Hope it works out for you.
Ps, don't have a lot of experience with mobile homes but did flip 2 this year.

Hi all in Pinellas County. I've got a situation/opportunity that I'd love to discuss with a seasoned investor over lunch. It's a little long to get into in a forum so would really love to sit down and get an opinion. I am in no way soliciting anyone's business, I'm just looking for honest and unbiased feedback from a (preferably) veteran. if you are interested please give me a call at 727 459-5200. I appreciate it very much!

PS. I have two successful rehabs this year so not a total newbie.

@Damien Clark  I just came across you post while I was looking for advice also. I don't know if you've found the info you were looking for (post is a month old), but I found another post where Foremost insurance, American Modern Insurance Groups,  and National RE Insurance Group were mentioned several times. I have no experience with these companies but probably worth a phone call. See below...

@Dan U.Maybe I didn't see it, but why aren't you getting the help you need from your own broker?

Lots of great advice above. I was told by a previous mentor ( in the mutual funds/insurance/retirement planning field) that...

People prefer an interested introvert than an interesting extrovert. Take it for what it's worth, but I personally believe it. Be a great listener and people will tell you their life story. It's up to you, then, to find the solution to what they;re looking for. In sales, make it all about the guy/women sitting across the table from you.

Adrian,  I have not yet attended, but last night I was on the meetup web site looking at the options. Any suggestions based on what you may know about the ones in Pinellas? Thanks!
