I am planning on getting my first STR property and wondering where to invest ? Are there any websites that will give us the data on top AirBnB/VRBO destination with Average bookings, number of people visiting these destinations, occupancy percentage, cash flow a year etc?
Live in CA and wondering i should invest in my backyard or elsewhere in the country. Not looking for a property manager at this time and would like to manage it myself.

This is how i look at it -
Use a 10bii calculator to calculate your return. The values you will input on those calculators would be your UPB, number of months remaining, present payment and you calculate what your return would be. Well, i dont just stop here. That percentage means nothing if it is a low price band asset.
The other variable I would look at is the interest that you receive every month. Is that reasonable enough than the principal.

If you have access to a title company, they can give you the details you are looking for. If you are an agent, narrpr.com can also give you the information you need. Propertyradar is another website that you can use.

@John Leyendecker, I did setup the system for my wife who is a Keller Williams Realtor. We have automated a few things and are happy with it.
Example: Once she adds a "buyer" and if they are looking for a lender referral, all i have to do is add the tag "LENDER-REFERRAL". It will send the contact information of 3 lenders that we picked and will also notify us via email.
Drip campaign: We have setup a drip campaign to be sent out every month for 12 months.
Its just another CRM system. Not sure what capabilities you are looking for. Happy to discuss. Send me an email.
