Get plugged in with @Danny Randazzo. He’s got a monthly meetup in town that can get you connected quickly. There is also a FB page “Charleston Area Real Estate Investors Club.”
We wholesale a few a month in Charleston. Lmk if you need any help getting started.

Hey Christopher. I have a lead manager and acq manager local in Charleston for our wholesaling operation there. I work remotely, but visit 1-3 times per year. We have been wholesaling houses from Moncks Corner down to Mt P since 2017. Let me know if my team or I could do anything to help.

@Julie Kern I love it! You are going to crush that 50 unit goal this year, I know it.
Trust me, I know how easy it can be to stray from the wealth mindset to the transaction mindset without even realizing it, when wholesaling. There are so many moving parts and responsibilities. I love that you realized this in a relatively short amount of time, and got back on track with what’s most important to YOU and your Fam.
I’m behind you on the multi fam plan, but am excited for your year, and look forward to hearing, and learning some from you in this niche once Casey and I are ready for apmts.
Go get em!

@Chris Jensen yea @Julie Kern crushed it in her answer. She's a great source of info for that area. My .02 is that $230K is WAYYYY too much for a $1,500/mo rental. We'd be looking for something around half that price. Someone mentioned maybe if some crazy appreciation was involved, but I'll tell you with the market we are in right now, I would definitely not count on ANY appreciation.

I live in Colorado and we did about 40 deals this year in Charleston, SC and Atlanta, GA. I have a lead manager that takes all the calls, an acquisitions manager that runs all seller appts and locks up the deals (1 acq mgr per market) and I handle dispositions (selling the contracts).
@Carl Hall I’d be happy to work with you on your Marietta leads. We do a lot in Cobb county. You pay for marketing, we run the leads generated, and split profits on the back end. LMK.
If either of you have any questions feel free to ask.

Have you connected with @Danny Randazzo or @Troy Gandee? There is another meetup around that's pretty established. It's not a REIA.
