@Johann Batista I assume your son lives or will be living off campus by UB south at some point? If so he’ll get to know the areas that’ll work as will you. House prices have gone up but there’s still opportunities to cash flow especially if renting out by the room.

I’ve got a 4 unit by the UB south campus as well a double in Amherst by UB north.

Im spread out around the suburbs and am now focusing on the city of buffalo itself. Taxes are a killer of good profits outside of the city. I’m trying fix and holds “brrrr” around the med campus on the east side now. I can refer you to a friend who’s on bp and is an investor and agent focusing on investment properties @Michael Calabrese

@Johann Batista its very much a possibility here. We have a few dozen universities here, UB being the largest. I know a few investors who solely focus on that market in a particular neighborhood and do more than double what they can get renting as a single family home. We don't fall under rent control like NYC.

Our second meet up last month was amazing! So much so we're doing it again at the same place and same time (Thanks again to Max @Michael Calabrese).

We'll do another "bring something to share with everyone thing". Lets go lighter on the beverages this go around go for the more snacky foods.

For the newbies, our deal is we're just a bunch of regular people meeting to get together to talk about real estate investing. We span the gamut from from well seasoned to un seasoned. We're here to talk things out and share our experiences about investing in the Buffalo Metro area.

Excited to see everyone again this month. Feel free to text me if you have a hard time finding us or just want to chat 716 32 zero- seventeen twenty nine.

Hello Everyone!

Today is the day for our monthly meeting. We're a go to park in the general parking lot thats part of the Parish Commons. Please enter through the main doors and find us upstairs. We're looking at over 2 dozen attendees this month which is really exciting! See everyone there tonight.

Please text or call me today if you have any questions or difficulty finding us tonight. Showing up late is perfectly fine, you'll only miss the quick introductions at the beginning.

Excited to see everyone and hold our second meet up!

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to check in and say how exciting it is we’re over the 20 person mark so far and counting. I’m actively recruiting others who seem on the fence about taking the investor plunge and I encourage others to do the same. Its not required to sign up here so let’s make it easy for those on the fence to just show up.

I also wanted to address parking for the event and ask Max @Michael Calabrese if we’re good to park in the main parking lot starting at 6pm?

Also as a friendly reminder to bring a creative but simple food and or beverage to share with about a dozen plus attendees.

Thanks everyone looking forward to February’s event!

Raylan
