Seeking a handyman to do minor repairs on our rentals and flips.  If anyone has one that they use that is dependable and does good work please share!  Thanks in advance!

@James Tolson - welcome to real estate in Brevard! I think many of us investors can relate to how you feel. Actually, those feelings are what led to us being in this game.

My husband and I host a meetup in West Melbourne the third Monday of each month, if you are interested in coming please reach out to me and I'll give you the info.

@Matt Leber FANTASTIC!  Congrats on another great investment!  We too had the same mindset, we pivoted when covid started and made some of our standard rentals Section 8 to secure our monthly payments.

We sell off some of our houses as owner financing every now and then so if you are interested let me know and I'll send you some when they are available.

@Chris Witham - keep on searching, there are still good deals out there as you can see from Matt's post, good luck!

@Cameron Tope - yes this too....most importantly what you said was LOCAL.  I think that's key and yes going to local meetups helps alot.  We have been hosting one in our area for quiet a few years now and have done many deals with wholesalers because they know we are REAL cash buyers, and we've also helped guide new wholesalers into getting their first deal.  Networking in your area is also very important.

Hey @Bas DeVries!  No need to buy any courses.  Biggerpockets and Youtube is enough.  I'm going to throw Tom Krol out there.  Look for his Biggerpockets Podcast on Youtube....he tells you exactly what to do.  We followed that podcast and closed quite a few deals.  Learn and implement what you learn and you will be on your way!

Remember...this does not happen overnight.  Overnight success does NOT exist.  It will take time but it does work.

Good luck and keep reading and learning on Biggerpockets!
