Hello Bigger Pockets

I have been a member for a few years on and off while reading a lot of messages making contacts. A lot of good information has come my way and I am now more excited than ever to say I am jumping into real estate! Always wanted to see houses go from the worst to the best.  Now at this time the opportunity has risen to jump full force in I am going in. I am completely new and only know a few things.

I am looking for a mentor that is willing to help me in my probably life long real estate adventure and see that I take a large chunk of cash we are getting from my grandfather from a sale of a office building in corona. If anyone is interested in our property or wants to come to the open office or is willing to see a young lad take real estate by the horns please make s post! Thank you I am thinking of investing into single family and multiple family at the same time in a 1031 exchange thank you Bigger Pockets. My phone number is in my profile as well.

@Priscilla Z. just curious what the value of it is now after 7 years.  Wonder what the growth is.  A new investor here looking to jump into multiple family and single family in Southern California!

hello I want to ask bigger pockets of there's a way for us members to make a sticky for like a bigger pocket meet up. I wanted to do a meet up at our commercial property so people can see and new investors can meet agents get contacts the works. Can we request a sticky for a thread so the new folks can see it in like the introduction section or what's our best way about this Bigger Pockets?  There will be full catering service and a very good time!

@Joseph Cornwell you are the man! Thank you for your pointers you would be a great mentor just with the experience you have.  I have a feeling that the buy-and-hold is kind of like flipping because not only did you fix a place but now you're responsible for it for very much longer time six years how ever long you decide. When Aaron on Bigger Pockets said he sold in 6 years and made bank.  I guess you take your earnings and reinvest again but more property obviously.

@Levi T. I am a new up and coming land lord myself. And these are very great points and statements. I read you have to be stern with your tenants let them know your in control and that's your property. I need to start studying screening tenants!

@Jeff Burdick those neighborhoods why are they hard to manage because your dealing with thugs? How do you take those old run down neighborhoods and get them back to par? They seem like good investments at that price!
