Hello BP-NATION,

I am overly joyed to announce that I have closed on my first investment property, a house hack duplex in Greenville, NC. I simply could not have done this without all of you here at BiggerPockets and the wonderful podcasts that BP offers.

With that being said if anyone has any suggestions (Do's & Dont's) I am all ears. I am ready to start my REI journey and I cannot thank all of you enough.

Sorry to bother again but does anyone have any investor-friendly mortgage brokers in mind? I've gotten a few quotes a couple months back with BB&T and OnQFinancial. I've heard credit unions are a great way to build investment relationships although I'm not a state employee so that knocks them off the list. Any other small time brokers that I could reach out to?

I come to y'all today because I just received the sellers signatures on the offer to purchase! The home is now under contract so the clock starts today. I need to get in gear quickly!
