@Geoffrey Hoffmann I'd consider using an LLC. An LLC will separate your personal assets from the business if anything happens. The business can start on whatever day you file for the LLC. You will not get taxed until you start earning revenue.

@Adam Fisher you can never go wrong with an LLC. That way you separate all of your personal assets from your business.
