@Maria Luna If you are already planning on turning this on a rental, look at it more of a business transaction. As long as you find something within your budget, in a good rental market, I would do it. Especially with interest rates at an all time low.

@Oriel Pascal Davis - Lyons you need to find the right investment property that makes sense for you. I wouldn't hone in on one or the other, instead let your Realtor know you are interested in both. Once you have some options and are ready to make a bid then run the numbers and see what investment is going to give you the best cash flow.

@Sergio Segura-Brito I agree with @Chris Davidson you need to find the best investment for you. Some people prefer to stay close to home others go out of state. It really is about getting your feet wet.
