I don't think anyone on BP supports fraud.  This is a really bad idea and there are plenty of other ways to find deals.  If you are looking for illegal ways to make money, be prepared for some jail time.

Additionally, you just set yourself up by posting this publicly.  Stick to legal investing.

Hi Chad, welcome to BP. Shoot me an email and I will get you on my VIP Buyers List. I had a few 4-6 unit REO Listings this year and expect some more in the future.

Guy was very nice in explain it to me to why to remove them, but it's frustating. Does Bigger Pockets has any sugestion, if this is just an empty treat?  in any event I am thinging in removing only couple. your is your input bigger pockets. we learn all over sites and even on BP to put bandit signs. Also he said not even on highway exits. all prohibit!

My first lesson in not listening to 'gurus' was very similar.  First call was from a State Trooper. "Hi, do you buy houses?"  "Yes"  "Ok, this is Officer XXX you need to remove your signs immediately, they are on state property".

Long story short:

- Any road that is labeled "Route", is a state road.  Any off ramp is a state road.

- Most sign ordinances only allow signs to be out from Friday evening to Sunday night.

- There is a good reason they call them BANDIT Signs.

- Bandit signs posted across town are a trashy and unprofessional form of marketing.

- If you think logically, if every company was able to post cheesy signs on telephone poles, the world would be an ugly place.  Don't do it.

- So why do people do it?  Because to them the money from 1 deal is more important than breaking the law, littering, and making the world look like a dump site. (And because for $999 someone told them to.)

If you do business in a state other than the one registered, then you need to file a Foreign Qualification in the state you are doing business.

The Service Agent needs to be in the state.  There are companies that offer this service.

DISCLAIMER: This is not legal advice, just opinion based on experience and research.  Any legal questions should be directed to a local attorney.

- You can not use a USPS P.O. Box.

- The owner address does not have to be in the state, but the Service Agent must be in the state.  You can use a 3rd party company for the Service Agent if you need/want to.

Welcome to BP.  You'll find a lot of no-hype assistance here.  A good place to start.. :)

Hype will help you get motivated, but I wouldn't take it too seriously.

Door Knocking Expired or FSBOs might have better results than door-to-door.
