Hello fellow BPers. I will be renting my house out in the next couple months (Dec) as I will be moving back to Chicago for personal reasons. It is located in Oviedo, FL and was wondering what I can do to make sure that I get the maximum rent available and if it's worth getting a property manager or taking care of any possible  issues myself by being proactive and replacing the big ticket items now. Thanks for any and all input.

Hello fellow Bigpockerters! I need some advise. I plan on purchasing my primary SFH in 3 months utilizing my VA home loan, BUT I just came across a very good deal on a Condo here in the Orlando,FL (I checked the numbers,comps, etc). I would use it as a buy and hold. Would it be wise to jump on this deal before I buy my house ? I don't want it to affect my qualification/approval in any way. Suggestions? Tips?
