I would use $8,000 of it to trade Forex.

It will definitely change things in the region. It blows up
the post-war arrangement with Japan. They will now
go nuclear themselves.

Taiwan will also probably go nuclear.

Hello and welcome to our forum!

I'm glad that you found us and that you already have
a little focus in your investing in mind.

It is better at the start to have a niche you are
interested in rather than just: investing in re.

Anyway...welcome!

Hello Yancy, and welcome to our forum. We're glad
you're here.

And look at your very first post!

What an insightful, and difficult question. I don't know
if any lawyers frequent our board, but some of our
people may have some experience in this.

I don't.

I share your forboding that bad things could happen
under that scenario. You're right to be cautious.

Keep posting and sharing your wealth of information
and experience. We're glad you are on our board.

Dick Green just took the words out of my mouth! Both
his welcome and his advice are spot on.

Look for deals where there is a deep discount. 10% is
just a minor adjustment! You deserve better than that.

Hello! Let me add my word of welcome to those of the
others.

I also would be honored to search amongst my contacts
for a potential private lender. There are issues involved
with doing it that way, but if you can't get a bank to do
it, sometimes you have to think outside the box!

Well now, Realtorkitty, welcome to our forum!

You've certainly come to the right place for knowledge
and good advice!

I hope that you will be a steady visitor to the REO threads
on this board, and that you will go to the profile section
and fill in your signature block with your phone number
and other info (website, hint, hint) so that people can
do business with you.

Best of Luck!

Yea, it dawns on me now that I didn't emphasize the early
serious networking and visiting the booths. That's where
you make lots of contacts.

Sorry it has taken so long for someone to respond to you!

Off the top of my head I would think $40,000 would be
about right. Talk to your bank about a home equity loan
to get a ball park figure.

Do you mean by your post that you're looking for
real estate agents in Dubai, or you're looking for someone
on the scene who has a project and is looking for
investment partners?
