I have to agree with Carson. Definitely hiding something. This market is still hot but those tactics are really unnecessary. I'd definitely watch the property and see what happens, might end up sitting for a long time if the agent keeps treating potential buyers like that. Gives us all a bad name!

Hi Benjamin Lin Welcome to BP! If you look on Meetup for LAREIC (Los Angeles real estate investors club), they have all sorts of meetings and a monthly free meeting at Olympic collection. It's a good place to meet other investors and vendors you would likely need on your journey. Feel free to connect, happy to help in anyway I can. Best of luck to you!

Yes it is, they offer a lot of options, some are good, some not so much, but you'll find that just about anywhere these days.  Best of luck to you.

I'm inclined to agree on most parts above.  It is definitely a crazy market right now and savvy buyers/agents know how to get it done....which is why we get paid.  And, yes, the offer should be clean (it's our/your job after all).

Hi @Kevin Lefeuvre .  Yes the meetings still happen as far as I am aware.  If you go to Meetup.com, search for "Los Angeles Real Estate Investors Club" the group should show up.  Or, you can google it too, they have there own website with a fair amount of info.

Welcome Jonathan Yip LA is definitely a difficult area to fix and flip. You might also think about looking south and east of LA (Hawthorne, South LA, Cypress, Pomona), and keep your eyes peeled for the occasional deal that pops up in LA. Palmdale seems to be discussed a lot on here as the next potential area to grow but not sure what the returns are there. Good luck! Let me know if I can be of any help on your search.

Hi Kim You should hire an attorney on this one. Easements can be very tricky and even if the law is in your favor, if you go to court it may not stay that way. As I understand it, if the easement was recorded, it would probably still stand. Though if there is another access point, you could argue to have it removed, but that's likely a legal process. Again, my advice is to hire a lawyer here. I have a similar issue with an easement crossing my property and I wish it was an easy thing to get rid of! Best of luck!

Allan Glass a very interesting idea! I think, as an agent, this is intriguing for those of us thinking of going on our own eventually. I haven't been in the field long enough to feel comfortable going it "alone" yet, but definitely in my 5-10 year plan. Please let us know if/when you start this, is be very curious to your success/difficulties with this concept. Best of luck!

Chrystopher Perez have your boyfriend look into the realtors credit union. They should be able to help with funding. He can find them through is local association or just google online, they don't have physical offices
