Antonio Lulli congrats on the move and good luck. I moved here from Chicago about 7 years ago and never looked back (for the most part). The market is definitely different out here, though may be similar to NYC?, and there are a lot of players. Happy to connect and help answer any questions. I work as an agent out here and am looking at getting into REI, probably more from a lending money, to experienced investors, standpoint at first. Anyway, an early welcome to LA. Matt Turcutto I would also recommend finding a printer that will mail for you. My printer in LA is significantly cheaper than the prices you mentioned (but that's his agent pricing). If you want his email/contact info let me know.

Derek J. The LAREIC is meeting on Thursday April 13 from 630-945pm (the meeting starts at 730, first hour is for networking and meeting vendors). You can rsvp on the clubs website and it's free. Held at the Olympic collection on Olympic and sawtelle once a month.

Varinder Kumar hire a real estate attorney. They have all the paperwork you will need and generally just charge an affordable hourly rate for what you will need them for. Not sure they will give any guidance on pricing. Paying no closing costs is unlikely here, you might negotiate smaller fees but you'll likely pay some.
