@Michael Lerch Yea Bluehost sometimes gives you an $100 credit when you signup. I build all our clients real estate websites through bluehost. We stress to them when they receive that credit in the mail is to send it over to us so we can setup the account right.

The credit is actually for local searches, and you'er right the money goes fast if you don't know what you'er doing.

@Lee S. if you meet make sure it's to close deals if they are took far to go see. Do all the heavy lifting over the phone or on your website which everyone should have. So when you do meet its to close the deals not just waste time with those tire kickers Lee.

Yo @Kyle Cabral I wrote one of the first books on Google adwords back in 2005. I've seen the change in their practices which is for the better. So when it comes to using that service it depending upon your market which you can be spending anywhere form $100 to $2000 a month. All this is determine by the local advertising competition rates.

Now when it comes to how many leads from the average people coming over to your site. This is something you can't judge due to that every website is different when it comes to conversion. To get a good round ball figure just look at the way we do in online sales.

Out of every 100 visitors we should get 2 sales and/or 10 opt-ins

My recommendation is to go the Facebook route of advertising..lots more targeted

@Darmi Parikh Plus I will say think about getting a website if you don't have one and allow it to do all your hard work. Build your online presence and let the hot leads find you.

Hi @Scott Costello It's the all around customization of the site that is suitable for the search engines. Those sites create mass templates that are good to have but not always suitable for your local market. At the end of the day believe me when I say that its better to own the cow versus renting it.

Those sites are good to start with, but coming from a guy who starting creating sites back in 2002. You just need something you have 100% control over.

Just checked out your site..it looks good bro

Well, honestly there is no way to get the true buyers to call you. It really just comes down to just taking action and filtering through the tire kickers.

@Lily Boudon Hi, before you go buying those type of websites yuo might want to read all of my blog posts here on BP. I now about all those sites you just named above and personally they won't have all the tools in them to help to dominate your local market.

Nearly all my clients come to me having a site from those you listed above. So at the end of the day we always have to start over with something they own and control 100% percent. Just read over my blog post and then make an educated decision.

Good Luck Lily

@Charles McGuire Post cards are great way to get in front of your leads. Just drive them over to your website and allow your site to educate them.

@Dina Fantegrossi Very simple answer to this question. Put a ad in the paper for a house for sale at 50% discount. Then just wait for the phone to ring from tons of investors.

Plus you can use Facebook ads to target down your list to a certain area and try to market to the investors there. Facebook will work a lot better than the newspaper.
