I think most people find that the deal (seller) is harder to come by than the money (buyer). Forget about a buyers list and focus on getting the deal. Spend your efforts marketing to motivated sellers. You can always use the BP Marketplace to advertise your deal once you have control of it and if it's a good one, you shouldn't have any trouble finding someone to take it off your hands.

Hey all,

I thought I'd offer my services as a video editor, motion graphics artist, and audio engineer here on BP for any real estate investors who may want the following:

• A podcast mixed

• A YouTube video edited

• A motion graphics video for your website

• Real estate photos edited

• Anything in between

Some examples of non-real estate related work: (password: biggerpockets)

Interesting idea. At 50 cents a pop, you'd need around 750 plays to hit your break even ($500-$125 deductIon). I don't know about the life on it, but in a 6-unit, I could imagine it taking quite awhile to rack up that many plays, not to mention any maintenance that it might entail. But if you'd get enough enjoyment out of it, go for it!

On his website, it says to email it to [email protected], so it looks like you sent it to the right place. Good luck to you!

Wow. Looks like a completely new house. Well done!

Have you guys considered doing two-part podcasts with some guests? I feel like with someone like Grant, there's so much to cover in such little time. I think it'd be awesome to record a 2 hours + interview and split it up between weeks. It'd be great to hear more in-depth about what comes with such large multi-families and some of the details behind those deals. Regardless, kudos again! Really enjoyed it.

I think the only way to do this as per the FAA regulations would require the homeowner to take the video and show it to a roofing company or inspector. If anyone else did it, it would be considered commercial as far as my understanding of it goes.

I absolutely loved this podcast. Thanks guys for bringing him on, and of course to Grant for sharing his mindset.

Also, I would love a job board on here. I think that would be a great way to find some legitimate employment opportunities in REI.

Hey Sean, welcome to BP! I am in Evanston as well. I think the main thing to keep in mind about Chicago is that property taxes are high and the ordinances are very tenant-favorable. Otherwise, there definitely is opportunity, but you'll pay a premium for turnkey on the northside of the city. Definitely connect with @Brie Schmidt, as she has rentals on the northside and check out the monthly meetups that she organizes.
