@Matthew Paul you are so right!!! FHA will also send out inspectors without notice to make sure you are living in the property. You don't want to mess around with this, unfortunately there's no real way around it. Mortgage fraud, intentional or not is not something you want to be involved in

Not sure what kind of investment properties you are looking for but Nationwide Children's Hospital is doing some amazing work in 3 zip codes surrounding them. They call it Healthy Homes/Healthy Neighborhoods and they have a YouTube channel to watch the transformation. The zip codes are; 43205, 43206 & 43207. These neighborhoods were in desperate need of a renovation and they are doing one house at a time. It's worth it to check out. Welcome to Buckeye Nation!!

If you don't own the home in which you are currently living have you given any thought to getting your feet wet by house hacking. You can purchase a 1-4 family through FHA and if you lived in one of the units your down payment would only be 3.5%. There a tons of blogs on this website about it and it would give you some very beneficial landlord experience. If you get the chance listen to BP Podcast 249, It's about House Hacking
