I have heard that you do that. Seems like you would get SUPER pissed off people. But I guess you're only really hitting them for 6 months.
And if you take people of your list, they're just going to end up back on it when you refresh your list 6-12 months down the road (given that you're still using the same criteria), unless of course they sold the house in which case you made the mistake of taking them off your list.

My sellers are occasionally unhappy with my offer price, not necessarily the fact that we are reaching out to them. BUT happy to have them on the phone and now we can negotiate!
p.s. WE love you guys! Any bigger pockets acquaintance discounts? ha ha!
Jill
Thanks Jill, just sent you a PM about the discount.

Direct Mail is not harassment, you are not forcing anyone to respond or even open your letter. You are not calling them or knocking on their door forcing a conversation. Is it harassment when you get unwanted coupons in the mail? The pizza place around the corner keeps sending me mail even after i told them i was on a diet, but the police department won't do anything about it.

Hi Anne the podcast is actually "Buy Sell Fix Flip", those last two words were reversed.
That search should come up instantly in iTunes, but he also has them on his website BuySellFixFlip.com. Hope that helps!

@Brad Srutowski You're pretty much spot on. The only correction i have is that the Zip Letter is not an envelope, it is a pressure sealed paper. Somewhat like a Jury Duty summons. The rest of the description was correct though!
Btw, Michael also has his own podcast on BuySellFixFlip.com, lots of great free info.

@Laura Bonck Michael sends out about 220,000 pieces of direct mail every month and buys all over the country.

This is a great opportunity to switch up your direct mail campaign and stand out from the competition!

@Adam Jordan Like many above mentioned, sending out just one mailing to a list will not get you very far. Its hard for a lot of people to continue mailing without seeing results, however that's what you need to plan for. Before you start a direct mail campaign you need to plan and budget to hit that list at least 6 times. If you can only afford one mailing, then you either need a larger budget or a smaller list.
