@Cole Souza welcome and this is a great city. I am a transplant and we moved here to start investing full time. Great people, low cost of entry, high rent prices vs purchase cost, etc... Good luck with your move and feel free to reach out.

@Amy Pett it doesn't really matter where we send the money too. Venom is a great option, free for them to send it and then you can deposit it into your account directly for free. If you are going to use a lender for the property, use a local one here in KC if you are buying as an LLC.

@Anita Parsa becoming an agent is a great way to make some extra cash and leave no doubt you are a real estate professional. As far as cash flow. SFH house converted into two separate short term rental units is the key to high cash flow, IMO. PM me if you need more advice, I am a broker/flipper/property owner/property manager here in KC. We do a little of everything.

@Kameron Holloway it really just depends on what your end state is. If you want low entry, friendly landlord laws, high rent then the Midwest and KC are great options for you.

@Matthew A Ronkoski welcome. Tons you can learn here from free, a ton of it you have to learn the hard/old fashioned way. When you say large scale multi-family, how many doors are you talking?
