@James Ritterour list are online closer to sale date. Also may want to check the condemned house list there is always a diamond in the rough. I would go down and talk to whoever is in charge but that's just MHO.

@Christopher Salernomost active investors here can pull significantly more than that in returns. Private flippers will frequently pay 10-15% for use of money.

Closed on our First House of 2016 today. Its a 3 bedroom 1 bath with a garage. I will be posting some pictures of Before and After-more to come.

@Mike Palmersmartkey deadbolt with key control and non locking doorknob. Dont have to change locks again and tenant cant lock themselves out.

@Michael Garrettyou can get a loan inside an IRA but there are tax considerations. You wont be able to live off the money though, unless you take early distributions. No tax or legal advice, best of luck.

@Tangela Greenno one can answer that for YOU. Whats your goals and does it fit. You also didn't say price. I have a model I use for my goals and it fits or it doesn't period. There are lots of ways to make money in RE, find one that works for you and do it better than anyone else.
