Post: How did you scale your direct mail when starting out?

Hey @Mike Trzaska Driving for dollars is a great way to find properties that are clearly neglected. You could spend more time driving if you wanted to. You could also hire somebody to do that for you. If you're interested in a larger amount of leads feel free to reach out I'd love to discuss.

@Nick Dunin any update for us? When I ran into this issue I always told them I cant make an offer over the phone without seeing the property. However I could do some research on the comps and give them a ball park of where I might be. Now that being said if they have a lot of equity or motivation I'd schedule an appointment and just cross my fingers. I'd also love to know what type of list you mailed.

Hey @Lauren Rautio It might help to seem add something like the property address that you want to buy. Also add the type of property you want: "I am a local real estate investor who focuses on XYZ properties." Feel free to message me if you need help creating lists.

Hey @Olutomi Odukoya I think if you're under a dollar on an envelope and a letter with postage that's probably reasonable. Some of the larger companies will even post their exact pricing tables online. Just google direct mail. If you ever need the leads for your mailers I'd love to chat.

I think most direct mail companies offer very similar pricing. If you're just doing 100 post cards it's probably somewhere from .5-.7 depending on what their bulk discount is. I wouldn't get carried away with price shopping unless you're increasing the mailers. That extra .1 isn't going to make the difference if you're profitable on 100 mailers. If you ever want to discuss adding some leads feel free to reach out.

Hey @Kerri K. I focus on creating lists for mailers. Would it be ok to DM to discuss what we do?

@Jack Hendrickson I should probably update that. I moved a little over a year ago. However it’s a great place. Beer is still around $2. Anybody who makes the move will be happy.
