@Laura Hartley probably best to speak with an attorney.

My first thought is if you plan on making a business out of it you should probably have it in an LLC as a CYA (Cover Your ASSets).

However, I'm sure there are many professional and long-time wholesalers that can shed more experience on the topic.

@Joshua Dorkin thanks for continuing to add value to the site. Personally, I didn't use it much, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a great tool. Excellent job in keeping ahead of the curve!

What app are you listening on? Some apps have their own volume button (like YouTube) that you need to raise separately from your phone volume.

@Jennifer Griffin @Christopher Telles agree completely.

We find ourselves so far off from list prices on MLS homes. But we go according to the numbers. It's another reason I love the business, there's not a lot of guessing on offer prices (as long as you are using the right assumptions).

The Fairfield, CT Real Estate Meet-Up! Where deals have been made, partners got started, money exchanged hands (not only for the bar tab) and great connections established.
  • No cost to attend.
  • No upsell.
  • No products being pitched.
  • ONLY NETWORKING at a cool bar in Fairfield!

If you haven't been to this meet-up yet and you are interested in Connecticut real estate, I would highly recommend it. It's very laid back at a really fun Irish bar, with great people and we try to make it so you can meet everyone that's attending. Please post on this forum if you can make it and where you're coming from.

  • Time: 7pm - 9pm
  • At 7:45pm: everyone introduces themselves and what they do and this helps you meet the people that you came to network with.
  • Average Attendance: About 20 - 30 people per meet-up

[ONE REQUEST: Please buy at least one drink (non-alcoholic works too) or food at the bar. The prices are very reasonable.]

There is plenty of parking nearby and across the street. If you're from Fairfield County, Hartford County, New Haven County, Middlesex County or other areas in New York/NYC that might benefit from the meet-up we would love if you would join. Thanks!

Nice job Chris. But I also am wondering why the washer/dryer is in the middle of the kitchen?

Congratulations! It was probably a very clean HUD on July 1st.

We purchased our first property a year ago today - it's been an awesome ride and year. Wishing you many more successes!
