@Ori Skloot I'm not sure when you looked last but direct mail pricing has become very competitive and you can get mailers for under $1/mailer. It's actually at the point where it makes more sense to outsource. However, I do agree with you to a certain extent that by keeping things in house, you have the ability to control your DM more and can experiment with different content/mailers/etc. But if we're being honest, most investors aren't tracking their mail closely enough to make it worth it.
I'm not opposed to doing things in-house but once you are doing some volume and have lots of leads coming in, keeping DM in-house becomes burdensome and difficult to keep up with.

There are a number of direct mail companies on BP but not many of them have actual campaigns set up. Most have one off mailers that you can purchase. Do a bit of research. Sorry I can't be of more help but I can't self promote and I'd rather you search around to make sure you find the company you want to work with.
Good luck!

Mailing a campaign is the most effective way to send mail. Each mailing in the campaign should build off each other like you're having a conversation with the seller. Also, think about things like branding. Is it easier for people to remember a name or a brand/logo? (hint: brand/logo). Don't just send a mailer that everyone else is using because most people follow everyone else blindly and don't think of these things.
A successful marketing campaign includes 1) Having a good list 2) Sending a mailpiece that will stand out 3) Consistency 4) Follow Up.

I've seen that the beginning of the week is generally better Mon-Wed.

So you can just mail your first batch as first and then the rest as standard to get the rejections off your list so you don't waste money sending to those.
Wow, that's a great idea. I wonder where you learned that?

Direct mail is an expensive form of marketing. I would recommend that you budget for at least 6 months of mailing. Standard mail is cheaper than first class mail so that would be a good savings. Also, don't limit yourself to yellow letters.
