Hi Jacob!

I just wanted to say congrats on starting your real estate journey! It's a fun ride and there's so much to learn and on top of that there are a ton of people to network and connect with.

I'm in the Boise market and my husband and I started our journey 3 years ago. If you ever have any questions or need any guidance feel free to reach out!

Hey Landen!

I think if you could get into a duplex of some sort where you could live in one side and rent out the other that may be a good start for you. Some sort of house hacking in general.

I work with an agent who is Military and knows a ton about the VA loan and what it can offer you. I would reach out to @Matthew McKee and I'm sure he could help point you in the right direction.

Good Luck!

I believe Boise, ID is a great market.

We are seeing great growth, a ton of job opportunities with a lot of businesses building headquarters here such as Amazon and Meta.

The weather is amazing and the area itself is great for people with all kinds of different interests.

If you want to know more I'd be happy to jump on a call with you!

Hey Kenneth!

I love networking with like minded people as well! Thank you for this post. :)

My husband and I started investing in real estate about 3 years ago and it has been such a fun and interesting ride. I'm an agent as well with a turnkey company who works a lot with OOS investors.

Our niche is creative finance and we've obtained all of properties except our primary home this way. If you ever want to learn more about our market or just what we're doing I'd be happy to talk more!

Quote from @Oren H.:

Thanks for the answers!

My property is a 4 beds SFH. Probably a "b" neighborhood.

To clarify my question, I’m looking to hear if other investors in Boise are seeing a major slowdown in the rental market.

 Hey Oren!

I am an agent and an investor here in Boise. We haven't been seeing a slow down in our rental properties. If there are any other questions I could answer for you please feel free to reach out!

Hey Heather!

I know a lot of people who don't have to travel to invest out of state.

If you're interested in mobile home parks you should look up Heather Blankenship on instagram. I believe she coaches as well but she would be a great resource to help you get stated!

Good Luck!

Hey Alex!

If you know any other investors in your area that would be a great place to start!

People that have done deals in your area are likely to have a team of some sort that they may be willing to share with you.

I'd suggest seeing how you could add value to them and in return I'm sure they would be more than happy to help you!

Good Luck
