Jennifer,
I know Myrtle Beach has a strong military presence, might be an option for buy and holds and flips.
I would make sure the house is able to qualify for VA financing when its completed.

Jennifer,
I would start with a target area and do all your research for comps, listed properties, time on the market and also talk to some agents for your area. They know what people are looking for and the areas people want to live in.
Hope this helps

@Joy Abia are you looking to get a bid to replace the roof?
Or just fix a leak?

@Michael Leung any pictures of the property?
Would love to see them.
I always like to see what everyone else is doing on their flips, especially the kitchen and baths!

@Ryan K. all of our bids are itemized. I believe this is the best way for both parties involved.
We like our clients to know what their money is being spent on. A break down also shows that the contractors actually know what is involved in the project. We hear a lot about contractors not being able to perform what they say they can or will.
I would only deal with contractors that offer itemized bids or contracts.
Hope this helps!

@Simon Shih @Jim Adrian @Mary Ann Casey @Linval T. @Charlie John @Joy Panebianco @Zana Blue here are some of the before pictures of the remodel.
This is a picture of the front room with the kitchen being to the left in the picture.
We removed the wall between the front room and kitchen to make the kitchen more open and added a new support beam and two supporting post because the wall removed was load bearing.
These are the walls built to support the ceiling while the kitchen wall was removed and new posts and beam was installed.
Wall removed and new posts and beam installed. Half wall installed to support the new 3cm Quartz Counter top.
